Morsels of Might: The Unexpected Hope That Nourished Nancy Through Breast Cancer

Nancy is a 55-year-old devoted wife, mom, and preschool teacher who always saw her glass as half full. Her life was busy, but it was filled with love and purpose.

Then suddenly, everything changed.

Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her world was turned upside down. Suddenly, her days were consumed with chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and 24 weeks of oral chemotherapy. She was overwhelmed and scared, facing a reality she never imagined.

But then, something beautiful happened.

Just when things were feeling too heavy, a bunch of incredibly kind people started donating $10 a month to make sure Nancy didn’t have to worry about meals during her treatment. These weren’t just any meals—they were a warm hug, a reminder that she wasn’t alone, and a burst of hope just when she needed it most.

Nancy shared, “With so much to worry about each day—like fatigue, medical expenses, side effects, laundry, groceries, and more—knowing I will have a warm meal prepared just for me and delivered by hand during my cancer treatment is simply remarkable!”

You were there for Nancy when she needed it the most.

These meals weren’t just nourishing her physically; they were lifting her spirits and helping her keep going. They made this tough journey feel a little less daunting and gave her some peace of mind during such a challenging time.

Isn’t it incredible what we can do when we all come together like this?

Because of the support she received, Nancy was able to focus on her treatments, have one less worry, and keep fighting. She’ll never forget how much that meant to her. It’s such a powerful reminder of how important it is to be there for others, especially when they need it the most.
