In 2020, we knew our patients needed little moments of joy more than ever. Our team started preparing birthday cards. The first card we delivered received this reply:

“Thank you so much for the card. It seems everyone else forgot it was my birthday. This is the only card I received today.”

It was a reminder that we never know what someone else is going through, and showing up with kindness is always the right thing to do.
